You now have the Cloth Diaper Essentials, you’re all washed and prepped, you know how to fold prefolds, now lets to set up your changing table for quick and easy access.
I know when I first got all my cloth diaper essentials, I didn’t know where to start storing everything and what needed to be where. I was a little overwhelmed. So to help out a fellow mother in search of some guidance, I’ll give you what I have set up and what works great for us!
I used an IKEA dresser as a changing table ( it’s also used as a dresser). I switched around a couple of drawers for easy reach storage access for the prefolds. (it originally had 4 small drawers along the top, I switched two small ones with one of the larger drawers).
Organized Changing Table:
This is the top drawer of the dresser/changing table.
This is along the top of the dresser. After baths or during the colder seasons, I pop a little heater on the table while I’m getting LO changed.
Heres my mini ladder that I use to dry the diaper covers.
This is the tin bucket on the table, I keep Snappi’s and q-tips in there, with other miscellaneous items.
Then hanging on the closet door, I have my wet bag to toss the used cloth diapers in.
Everything should be within close reach at all times. You never want to be away from LO!
That’s everything you need for a quick diaper change!
